Our limited-edition artworks represent a dedication to exclusivity and artistic integrity. The edition number indicates the total prints produced across all physical sizes. For instance, a limited-edition numbered 450 means that the photograph will only be produced a total of 450 times, regardless of size—whether it's 100cm, 150cm, 200cm, or any other available dimension. This ensures that each size variation maintains its exclusivity within the overall edition count. Spread the word about Lunar Veil

I have always had a passion for our galaxy and the stunning beauty of the beyond. Landing that shot with a unique perspective is really challenging, but always worth the effort. For years I have been chasing the perfect image of the daytime moon — this time it all came together. Every time I go out on a shoot, I am searching for the ultimate composition to frame and accentuate this striking daytime moon. This is bloody hard! So many factors seem to work against you, weather and timing just for starters.

While shooting my favorite tree (a Japanese maple) I found a perfect window of opportunity — conditions were ideal! The moon was so delicately framed by the leaves. I had to capture that moment! I only had a couple of days to make my vision a reality. The first day I attempted it, the moon did not cooperate, as I was using a single shot and the resulting quality just wasn’t cutting it. Capturing the leaves which framed the moon wasn’t hard, but the moon was being elusive.

The tighter I zoomed in on the moon, the faster it flew through the viewfinder. I had to think outside the box — shooting the moon with a star tracker was my decision. After a technical exercise (stacking 48 exposures of the moon into one) I achieved the resolution I had been chasing. Finally my vision of a daytime moon emerged into a real work of fine art.
