About the Collection
What is included in the Peter Lik collection?
View All brings together Peter Lik’s complete collection of Limited Edition and Open Edition fine art photography, more than a thousand images captured across six continents. It spans every subject Peter is known for, from the beaches of Hawaii and Australia to the mountains of the American West, the cities of New York and Paris, and wildlife from the African savanna to the Camargue.
New works are added with each release, while select images move to The Vault as they reach final availability. Collectors looking for a starting point can explore Best Sellers or the latest New Releases.
How are Peter Lik prints made?
Every Peter Lik photograph is produced in-house at the LIK Fine Art studio in Las Vegas, one of the few artist-owned fine art production facilities in the world. Each image is printed on museum-grade photographic paper and mounted beneath acrylic to reveal remarkable color, depth, and detail.
Limited Editions are offered with a contemporary acrylic mount or an artisan frame assembled in the studio and finished with a canvas-wrapped liner, while Open Editions are offered with an acrylic mount or a brushed pewter frame. Each piece arrives with a hanging solution, and LIK Fine Art gallery consultants are available to assist with sizing, framing, and placement. Explore the LIK Fine Art framing guide to learn more.
What sizes and formats are Peter Lik prints available in?
Peter Lik photographs are available in square, classic 3:2 photographic, and panoramic formats, in sizes from 55 cm Open Editions up to select panoramic works more than nine feet long.
Each image keeps the composition Peter originally envisioned, whether a balanced square, a classic landscape or portrait, or an expansive panorama that carries a scene across the wall. For help selecting the right format and scale, explore the guide to choosing a portrait or landscape print.
What is the difference between an Open Edition, Limited Edition, and Artist Proof?
Open Edition photographs are signed but not individually numbered and do not have a predetermined edition limit.
Limited Edition photographs are signed and individually numbered, with a fixed edition size listed on each artwork’s product page. Once every number in a Limited Edition has been reserved, the edition is permanently closed and no additional pieces are produced.
Artist Proofs belong to a separate, highly limited edition. Depending on the photograph, Artist Proof editions range from 10 to 45 individually numbered pieces. They are produced at a higher print resolution and presented beneath anti-reflective acrylic for exceptional clarity and detail.
