The Premier Collection
About the Collection
What is the Peter Lik Premier Collection?
The Premier Collection represents the rarest tier of Peter Lik’s work: ultra-limited photographs released in editions of ten or fewer. These images are among the most collectible in Peter’s portfolio, chosen for their scarcity, presence, and the singular moments they capture.
The collection includes the light-carved walls of Antelope Canyon, golden aspen groves in Aspen and Telluride, autumn reflections on New Hampshire’s Androscoggin River, the shores of Maui and La Jolla, the Manhattan Bridge, and the DC-3 aircraft of Aurora, Oregon. Discover the story behind one of the collection’s most celebrated images, Phantom, in the LIK Fine Art Journal.
How are Premier Collection works made?
Every Premier Collection work is produced in-house at the LIK Fine Art studio in Las Vegas, one of the few artist-owned fine art production facilities in the world. Each photograph is printed on museum-grade photographic paper and mounted beneath acrylic to reveal remarkable color, depth, and detail.
Collectors may choose a contemporary acrylic mount or an artisan frame assembled in the studio and finished with a canvas-wrapped liner. Each piece arrives with a hanging solution. Explore the LIK Fine Art framing guide to learn more about presentation options.
How can I acquire a work from the Premier Collection?
Because editions are so limited, Premier Collection works are not offered for direct purchase online. Availability, sizing, and pricing are handled personally by LIK Fine Art gallery consultants, who can share the remaining numbers in an edition and guide collectors through presentation options.
To inquire about a Premier work, contact an art specialist or visit one of the LIK Fine Art galleries. Related works can also be discovered in Award Winners, The Vault, and Limited Editions.
What is the difference between an Open Edition, Limited Edition, and Artist Proof?
Open Edition photographs are signed but not individually numbered and do not have a predetermined edition limit.
Limited Edition photographs are signed and individually numbered, with a fixed edition size listed on each artwork’s product page. Once every number in a Limited Edition has been reserved, the edition is permanently closed and no additional pieces are produced.
Artist Proofs belong to a separate, highly limited edition. Depending on the photograph, Artist Proof editions range from 10 to 45 individually numbered pieces. They are produced at a higher print resolution and presented beneath anti-reflective acrylic for exceptional clarity and detail.
