About the Collection

What is included in Peter Lik’s Beach Collection?

Peter Lik’s Beach Collection features fine art beach and ocean photography captured across four continents. From the sunlit shores of his native Australia—including Noosa, the Great Barrier Reef, the Twelve Apostles, and Tasmania—to the volcanic coastlines of Maui, Kauai, Oahu, and the Big Island of Hawaii, Peter has spent a lifetime drawn to the meeting place between land and sea.

The collection continues through La Jolla and Santa Monica in California, the Florida Keys, Nantucket, Montauk, Bora Bora, Iceland, Greece, and the windswept shores of the Camargue. These coastal landscapes transform water into silk and sky into color—preserving moments that feel timeless, untamed, and entirely at peace.

How are Peter Lik beach prints made?

Every Peter Lik beach print is produced in-house at the LIK Fine Art studio in Las Vegas, one of the few artist-owned fine art production facilities in the world. Each photograph is printed on museum-grade photographic paper and mounted beneath acrylic to reveal remarkable color, depth, and detail.

Collectors may choose a contemporary acrylic mount or an artisan frame assembled in the studio and finished with a canvas-wrapped liner. Each piece arrives with a hanging solution, while LIK Fine Art gallery consultants are available to assist with sizing, framing, and placement. Explore the LIK Fine Art framing guide to learn more about presentation options.

What sizes and formats are Peter Lik beach prints available in?

Peter Lik beach prints are available in square, classic 3:2 photographic, and panoramic formats. The collection ranges from intimate 10 inch Element works to sweeping panoramic images, with select ocean landscapes reaching more than nine feet long.

This range allows each coastal image to retain the composition Peter originally envisioned, whether expressed as a balanced square, a classic landscape or portrait, or an expansive panorama that carries the horizon across the wall. For help selecting the right format and scale, explore the guide to choosing a portrait or landscape print. Related works can also be discovered in the Hawaii Photography, Water Photography, and Vertical Panoramic Prints collections.

What is the difference between an Open Edition, Limited Edition, and Artist Proof?

Open Edition photographs are signed but not individually numbered and do not have a predetermined edition limit.

Limited Edition photographs are signed and individually numbered, with a fixed edition size listed on each artwork’s product page. Once every number in a Limited Edition has been reserved, the edition is permanently closed and no additional pieces are produced.

Artist Proofs belong to a separate, highly limited edition. Depending on the photograph, Artist Proof editions range from 10 to 45 individually numbered pieces. They are produced at a higher print resolution and presented beneath anti-reflective acrylic for exceptional clarity and detail. Visit the LIK Fine Art FAQ for additional information about editions, materials, and collecting Peter Lik photography.
