Professional Photographers of America Accepts “Blazing Skies” into its Loan Collection
An award-filled 2016 keeps rolling along for the Master Photographer who has, once again, been honored by perhaps the most prominent institution in the industry. During Professional Photographers of America’s (PPA) latest, annual International Photographic Competition, Peter was named a Silver Medalist, after four of his stunning images were granted Merits of distinction – one of which has also been accepted into the organization’s coveted Loan Collection.
Featuring epic landscapes from multiple continents, PPA Merit winners, Fascination, Pacific Reflections, and Seventh Wonder are all breathtaking images that Peter’s dedicated collectors are undoubtedly familiar with. However, it is his impeccable work on Blazing Skiesthat secured the Artist’s entry into PPA’s esteemed Loan Collection, and by proxy, garnered him a well-deserved Silver Medal. As a result, this beautifully windswept scene, captured in Martinez, California, will be included in the much-anticipated "Loan Collection" book, to be published at a later date by Marathon Press.
Of course, news of this latest triumph could not mean more to the Artist himself: “PPA has been a true supporter of my work over the years, and continues to humble me with their overwhelming appreciation,” states Peter. “I am honored and extremely grateful.” For those photographers that may be planning a visit to PPA’s upcoming Imaging USA expo in Texas, Peter’s award-winning vision, Blazing Skies, will be available for an up close look at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, from January 8-10, 2017.
Congrats, Pete!
