Oregon To be beneath the branches of this natural masterpiece was a moment I’ll never forget. A canopy of golden maple leaves cloaked me as I set up my camera. I chose a really low angle to strengthen the depth and perspective of the image. Composition and timing was critical. A shower of rain just popped the colors—now was the time to shoot. The green moss clinging to the rocks and trunk was such a perfect contrast of color. I hope you feel this amazing surge of energy and the same power of nature that I felt when I pressed the shutter.
