Within the sheltered lagoon of Bora Bora, paradise reveals another face. Bolts of lightning rip across the horizon, each strike tearing open the sky in fleeting brilliance, sending waves of light dancing across the water.
The lagoon has long been a sanctuary, its calm waters cradled by the reef, a fragile contrast to the infinite power of the Pacific just beyond. Here, serenity collides with chaos — the true essence of the islands. Beauty thrives not only in moments of peace, but in defiance of the storm. Tempest captures this fragile balance. The result of patient pursuit, recording strike after strike as the storm advanced across the reef, later brought together to reveal the full magnitude of the skies.
