There is something truly magical being surrounded by mist in a forest. Silence, peace, solitude, and beauty all resonate there within me. It’s a place of total sanctuary for me — a feeling I have to capture on film. Smell the leaves on the forest floor. The pure fresh mountain air filling my lungs. Nothing moves. It’s a place of total calm. The early morning mist swirled through the forest — revealing the iridescent crimson and scarlet colors in fleeting moments. When all the moods of the forest harmonized — I took a deep breath and pressed the shutter.
