Burra, Australia
While traversing the rolling hills of Burra, I found these fields of yellow and violet flowers. It overwhelmed me. I have taken many shots of flowers and fields before, but never with the contrast and color combination that lay before me. Adding to this was the beautiful blue sky that helped to complete the composition. I set up the shot and positioned myself to capture all three elements in their splendor. With the sun high in the sky and a crisp, clear morning,
I captured a visual carpet of color.
