The Vault Collection: Final Availability for Select Peter Lik Photographs

Updated

At LIK Fine Art, every photograph released is part of a carefully considered body of work. As the collection evolves, select images reach a point where they are no longer offered for acquisition.

The Vault Collection represents this moment.

It is a curated group of Peter Lik photographs available for a limited time before entering the Vault—where they remain part of the artist’s legacy, but are no longer available for purchase.

What Is The Vault Collection?

The Vault Collection is an ongoing program that thoughtfully manages the availability of select LIK Fine Art photographs.

Rather than keeping every image available indefinitely, certain works are offered during a defined final availability period. Once this window closes, the photograph is vaulted—preserved within Peter Lik’s body of work and removed from acquisition.

This approach ensures:

  • Long-term rarity for collectors

  • A focused, evolving collection

  • Clear final availability for select works

Final Availability: Current Selection Through January 31

The current Vault Collection includes five photographs that are now in their final availability period.

These works will remain available through January 31. After this date, they will be vaulted and no longer offered for purchase.

If you’ve been considering one of these images, this is the final opportunity to acquire it before availability ends.

What Happens After an Image Is Vaulted?

When a photograph enters the Vault:

  • It is no longer available for acquisition

  • It remains part of Peter Lik’s artistic legacy

  • Its rarity within the collection is preserved

For collectors who already own these works, vaulting reinforces long-term value and exclusivity. For new collectors, The Vault Collection offers clarity around final availability—something rarely seen in fine art photography.

A Living Collection That Evolves Over Time

As the current group enters the Vault, a new selection of photographs will take its place.

Each group is introduced for a limited period before also being vaulted. This creates a rhythm within the collection—encouraging collectors to return regularly to discover what is currently available.

The Vault Collection is not about new images.
It’s about final moments of availability.

Why This Matters for Collectors

Many collectors ask how artists manage growing bodies of work over time. The Vault Collection offers a transparent, thoughtful answer.

This approach:

  • Honors earlier works

  • Preserves long-term integrity

  • Prevents overexposure

  • Creates meaningful acquisition moments

It’s a model used across luxury industries—from limited-run watches to archived fashion collections—and one that aligns with how serious collectors think about ownership.
