PPA President and CEO Pay Special Visit to Peter Lik’s Studio

Updated 07/28/2021

It seems Professional Photographers of America (PPA) has taken a real liking to the Australian-born artist. Peter received a very special visit from PPA President, Susan Michal and CEO David Trust, who spent the day with him at his LIK USA™ headquarters in Las Vegas.

Peter’s VIP guests, who lead the country’s largest and most prominent association in the field, were treated to a personalized tour of the artist’s studio and production facilities. All the while, the group discussed the Master Photographer’s upcoming presentation and various other events he will participate in, such as book signings and special appearances. To cap the day, Michal was granted an extremely rare opportunity to sit down with Peter and discuss his life and career as a fine art photographer. Moments from the filmed interview will be used to promote next year’s convention, which will take place in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland from February 1 – February 3.

Dating back to 1880, PPA was formed to “combine the best minds of the profession, promote an active exchange of ideas and knowledge and eliminate narrow and prejudiced opinions regarding photography as an art and science.” Today PPA boasts 27,000 members, 30,000 affiliate members and has over 140 years of representing the professional community.
