On the heels of unveiling his first new frame line in years, the Studio Collection, comes yet another innovative offering from Peter that is certain to garner the attention of his eager collectors.
The Modern Collection showcases a powerful lineup of images, set in oversized metal frames that offer a captivating look to any interior design.
In contrast to the organic, rustic appeal of the new Studio Collection frames, the Modern Collection (seen above) brings a construction of hot rolled steel with a polished look that boasts of museum quality: “I wanted to offer a total contrast from my other frames,” Peter explained. “The Modern Collection is bold, prominent – almost industrial. When you walk into a room and see these frames, you will be immediately drawn to them.” According to Peter, by enlarging the frame size, the viewer is guided to “really focus in on the accompanying image. It is almost mesmerizing,” he added.

The first series of images to be offered with the Modern Collection is entitled New York City – Peter’s iconic black and white photographs of the famous “Big Apple” architecture, which he captured during a two-month trip back in 2012: “New York just blew me away with it's legendary skyline and endless feats of mankind’s ingenuity. Reproducing the shots in black and white really accentuated the city’s shapes and gave them a classic feel.” Each Modern Collection piece is an Open Edition, with the frames measuring at 26” x 26”, and the images at 15.75” x 10.5.”
Featuring the artist’s signature, each Modern Collection piece has also been designed by Peter and made in the USA. Currently available for purchase through any LIK Gallery, this latest offering provides a striking, modern appeal for collectors looking to impress at home or the office.
