Peter Lik Honors Victims at Vegas Cares Benefit at The Venetian

Updated

Fitting Vision, Epic Skies, Donated to Help Memorialize Victims & Heroes

Alongside a swarm of celebrity attendees and performers at Sunday’s roaring Vegas Cares Benefit at The Venetian, Peter Lik showed his solidarity with those who are still feeling the devastation of October’s senseless, and devastating tragedy. Through the Artist’s generous donation of Epic Skies (above), which was sold at auction during the event, even more proceeds will now go towards a highly anticipated commissioned memorial by fine artist, Tim Bavington.

Featuring the Fountains of Bellagio against the backdrop of a moody Vegas atmosphere, Epic Skies was the Master Photographer’s “only choice” for this occasion: “All I have ever wanted to do is focus on capturing and sharing the beauty of the world around us,” says Peter. “I could not possibly be more humbled to continue that tradition within my local community. It was an honor to attend this amazing event and really cool to see such a super star line up come out in support.”

Produced by BESTAgency CEO, Ken Henderson, Vegas Cares featured appearances and performances from the likes of Jewel, Penn & Teller, Blue Man Group, Mike Tyson, Tom Green, and others. Before leaving for the evening, Peter could not resist the request to sign a very special guitar with all the other contributing artists – also auctioned off to help cherish the memory of the victims, and keep Vegas Strong.
