Updated

American Art Awards Taps Peter’s Waikiki and Lahaina Galleries for ‘Unparalleled Accomplishments,’ Second Year in Row

In a recent, in-depth story by the Huffington Post it was revealed that Peter’s island galleries, LIK Fine Art Waikiki and LIK Fine Art Lahaina, have been officially named in the American Art Awards’ (AAA) 2017 list of the 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America. Also, both locations have been recognized by the AAA as the top two galleries in Hawaii – an accolade traditionally reserved for just one gallery per state. This is the second year in a row that Peter’s South Pacific hot spots have been tapped by the prominent national organization, which carefully narrowed down its latest selections from thousands of formidable candidates across the country.

Thom Bierdz, AAA president could not have been more heartfelt in his praise: “Peter’s love of nature shows in the materials constructing his Hawaiian showplaces, and gels brilliantly with the rich tropics outside - as well as the lush landscapes in his framed photographs. We salute Lik’s keen eye and unparalleled commercial accomplishments.”

Sne Patel, Director of Global Strategies for LIK USA, and Steven Maier, Gallery Director of LIK Fine Art Waikiki, have both played major roles in the evolution of the Hawaiian annexes, and could not be prouder: “We strive to give five-star service in both locations,” says Patel. “They are the temples of Peter’s work, and our mission is to always transfer his passion to the enchanting atmospheres our visitors have come to know and love.” Adds Maier: “Peter’s tireless dedication to combining welcoming environments with knowledgeable staff is what makes these galleries stand out and worthy of the recognition. We thank AAA for their continued support.”

Congratulations once again to the Waikiki and Lahaina Galleries!
