Equation of Time Takes Silver In AAF District Competition

Updated

Peter Lik’s Fine Art Photography Book Sets Course for Nationals Next Week

In the second tier of the American Advertising Awards, which pits local winners against one another in over a dozen district competitions, Peter Lik’s Equation of Time once again came through – this time with a Silver ADDY for Best Book. The award, which is bestowed upon those who are “considered outstanding and worthy of recognition,” comes on the heels of Peter’s thrilling Gold ADDYwin in Las Vegas, and represents the final step before reaching the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) national stage in Anaheim, California next Tuesday.

As part of AAF’s 15th district, Peter recently triumphed over a vast assortment of competitors from Southern California and Southern Nevada, further proving his book’s longevity and relevance in the professional world of design: “I am incredibly overwhelmed and grateful for the AAF’s recognition of Equation of Time,” Peter remarked. “These awards could not mean more to me or my hardworking design team.”

Equation of Time, which took a full two years to complete, takes each viewer through over 30 years of Peter’s adventurous career, and uncovers the most beautiful locations on earth. In putting together this gallery-in-itself, the Artist searched out the most talented contributors and finest artisan materials from around the world. Now, this amazing accomplishment, marking a lifetime of work, is making its way to Anaheim, where it will be judged alongside the best of the best in AAF’s national competition next week.

Good Luck, Pete!
