Equation of Time Earns an American In-House Design Award

Updated

Graphic Design USA Honors Peter Lik’s Photography Book with Fifth Win in 2016

Graphic Design USA (GDUSA), one of the most prominent business-to-business sources for professionals in the field, recently announced Peter’s Equation of Time as a selected winner in their annual American In-House Design Awards competition. As a standout submission in the Books category, the Artist’s 528-page achievement in landscape photography was recognized for its creativity, artistic contributions, and outstanding work as an in-house design accomplishment.

Succeeding in a competition, which recognizes the hard work and challenges of putting together a project internally, holds real meaning for Peter: “Designing so much of this book at our own studios and facilities has been an extremely demanding, yet rewarding experience,” the Artist remarks. “This generous nod from GDUSA is truly gratifying and humbling.”

This accolade marks the fifth win so far this year for Peter’s 106-pound tribute to over 30 years of dedicated shooting; Equation of Time has already won two ADDYs (Gold and Silver) from the American Advertising Federation, and three distinct honors from the International Book Awards. With so much praise under its belt, since being released last winter, the book’s momentum is showing no signs of slowing down.

Cheers, Pete!
