Out in the Simpson Desert, the heat reaches inferno proportions and the sight of an approaching storm was a welcome relief. The incredible cloud formations trailing the desert winds scudded across the skies, churning the spectacular glowing blades of this outback windmill. The unusual colours of the storm laden sky contrast with the glowing blades, to create this typically Australian scene.
