I had spent days riding around Santorini, looking for simplistic, classic Greek images. To the average viewer, all look the same, but I needed that special element. This evening, I hiked the rocky shoreline and framed up this classic church. The setting sun looked like a tapestry over the ocean, and as I framed up the shot, an incredible sailboat sailed into the shot. I couldn’t believe it; my body was covered in goose bumps as I pressed the shutter.
