Telluride, Colorado I am always trying to get a different perspective on nature. Hiking the streams and rivers of Colorado for days was a real challenge as I searched for a shot that I knew was on my mind. This part of the stream really felt right. The river gurgled over the boulders and I noticed a low lying branch hanging over the river. I knew capturing them in one shot would be a real challenge. I needed a long exposure of one second to give the river a painterly feel, and needed total calmness. The river was causing a very mild breeze, just enough to move the leaves throughout the exposure. After three hours of intense shooting, I managed to capture one totally calm frame. My efforts paid off. River of Zen. Hope you feel it like I did.
