These legends are the spiritual framework on which they base their culture, and each painting represents an important legacy to Australia’s modern culture. I wanted to capture an image which would not only do justice to the incredible skills of the artist, but that would also tell a story. In this beautifully detailed painting, the rainman is depicted, who local legend tells us would beat his horns together calling on the rains to fall.
