The Maui Times has announced its Best of Maui 2014 results and this year, LIK LAHAINA was named Best Gallery for 2014. This accolade is especially important to us because it was voted on by the local community, the heart and soul of Maui. The hard work and dedication of the LIK LAHAINA gallery staff, as well as their involvement in the community, has proven to make all the difference in making Peter Lik’s Maui gallery second to none.
Anthony Pignataro from Maui Time writes: "Peter Lik has 15 or so galleries around the world that sell giant copies of his high-high-high definition landscape photographs. One of them is in Lahaina, on Front Street with a bunch of other commercial galleries. Most of the shots in his gallery here tend to the natural world shots – streams, canyons, forests – but on my last visit I lost myself in a shot he’d taken of Manhattan from one of the high-rises. It was mesmerizing."
