Tucson, Arizona After I negotiated with the United States Air Force for over a year, Colonel Patrick T. Kumashiro, Commander of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, granted me access to their aircraft and missile storage and maintenance facility in Tucson, Arizona. It was a dream come true! AMARG is a controlled-access site, and is absolutely off-limits to anyone not employed there as well as anyone lacking proper clearance — it’s no joke! The legendary “Boneyard” takes care of well over 4,000 aircraft making it a landscape unlike any other place on earth! It was such a privilege and an honor to actually shoot here — I was blown away (nearly literally)! The scene is unreal!
