Peter Lik and LIK USA celebrated the unveiling of Peter’s newest piece, Tranquil Blue at galleries worldwide this weekend. Event attendees were treated to a night of fine art and hors d’oeuvres as Peter’s highly-anticipated new release was viewed by the public for the first time.
Finally captured after eight days of waiting for the perfect moment, Tranquil Blue depicts a jetty in the Florida Keys that stretches out into the ocean. Seeming to never end, "the jetty was so authentic," and, according to Peter, "The little brass lanterns, bleached boards, and rope handrail gave it so much character."
