There is never a dull moment at LIK USA headquarters in Las Vegas – with Peter constantly churning out award-winning landscape images and a myriad of supporting products.
It has been five years since releasing his last frame design, but Peter – who seems to work 25 hours a day – finally carved out some time this past year to perfect his latest offering: the Studio Collection. Featuring a chic, wood construction, these contemporary floor frames are a perfect fit for collectors who wish to simplify and modernize the look of their interior.
LIK Fine Art
LIK USA has become known amongst collectors for providing exceptional framing to house all of Peter Lik’s images. Some of the current designs are even handcrafted in Italy, perfectly complementing the subject matter with popular looks such as Dark Ash, and Bourbon. However, the Studio Collection takes framing to a whole new level, by providing a fresh, yet rustic appeal that caters to the environmentally conscious collector who may want mobility out of the Peter Lik experience. Made in the USA, the wooden frames have been sourced from sustainable forests.
Peter Lik Floor Frames
Personally designed by Peter, each handcrafted 6.5” timber frame is created from thermo-treated poplar and suited to fit any two-meter, panoramic photograph. A distressed, butcher-block aesthetic is securely fastened together with reinforced, mitered corners – all finished off with a single smooth coat of water sealer: “We spent over a month working hard every day at perfecting the design,” Peter stated. “After so many prototypes and readjustments, we finally achieved our goal. It is a very fresh, organic way of presenting the images and totally eliminates the complications of using tools and making a mess during installation.”
Finally, the ease with which the framed images can be moved from one space to another gives the collector incredible freedom to redecorate any space: “I am so happy to offer a product to my collectors that gives them more artistic license to have fun and play around with the look of their home or office.” With the release of the Studio Collection, there is now a whole new way of enjoying Mother Nature’s incredible landscapes.
