LIK SOHO Takes Part in Upcoming Art Strut Festivities

Updated
As the Art Strut website points out, “No one does art like SoHo!” and next Thursday, May 7th anyone in the NYC area will have a chance to experience that firsthand.

Offered by art preservationists at the prestigious JUDD Foundation, exclusive guided tours of the chic neighborhood’s incredible art galleries will, of course, be featuring LIK SOHO – a fixture of the local scene since 2008.

Art Strut is a yearly happening, organized by SoHo Strut – founded in 2013 with a mission to “support SoHo-based businesses by strengthening the local community.” This year, 20 galleries in the area will be open to the public from 6-8pm, many of which will have live music and wine, including LIK SOHO. From 7-10pm, event goers will be able to continue the festivities by hob-knobbing at a local pop-up gallery – featuring selected works of art and a silent auction. Finally, the evening will conclude with an after-party at nearby locale, The Handy Liquor Bar, a major sponsor of Art Strut 2015.

This art-centric event is fun way of recognizing and exploring all the wonderful galleries SoHo has to offer, and Peter could not be more thrilled to be included: “New York City is where it’s at – no question,” he commented. “SoHo is practically the center of the universe for all aspiring and professional artists. To be an accepted part of the community feels incredible. I’m very thankful.” Peter is also extremely pleased to know that a portion of the Art Strut ticket sales, as well as proceeds from the silent auction that evening will benefit local non-profit, ACE Programs for the Homeless.
