The Australian outback feels so free and open. Burra is a tiny town in the rolling hills of Adelaide, South Australia. I camped out for days, driving every backroad, searching for the perfect shot. I knew in the spring time the colours would be on in the fields, and finding the right blend of flowers was very challenging–either all yellow or all purple. Finally my persistence paid off, and a lone windmill added that special element to the composition. Gorgeous clouds gathered on the horizon, and all the forces of nature came together. Emerged nature is the powerful image I always strive to capture and share.
